Host a MAST International Trainee
As a host, you will train and share ideas with the trainees; add a cross-cultural dimension to your work life; obtain reliable, qualified, and motivated help in your operation; increase your international understanding; and develop lifelong friendships.

How Can I Become a MAST International Host?

  1. If you are interested in becoming a MAST International host, complete and submit the Host Application.  A staff member will review your application, and may contact you to do a “pre-placement” site visit.

  2. Several months prior to an orientation (see calendar below), contact MAST International to indicate you would like to host a trainee.  MAST International may also contact you if we have a trainee whose interests match your placement site.

  3. If available, MAST International will select and send one or more applications that seem suited to the training opportunities at your placement site.

  4. Review the trainee application(s) and decide if you would like to host that particular trainee.  Check the placement dates the student requests on his/her application to be sure they fit your placement site.

  5. Inform MAST International of your decision to host and complete a Host Trainer Agreement form – MAST International will then send the visa documents to the trainee.

  6. Get ready for your trainee to arrive!
