The MAST International Program is unique.  Our program complements the practical training experience by offering affordable study programs through the University of Minnesota.

A Study Program is not required although MAST participants are strongly encouraged to include this as part of their program experience.  Many MAST Alumni valued the opportunity to study at a world-renowned University.  In addition, they enjoyed meeting trainees from around the world while participating in the Study Program.

There are two options for study programs -- the University Program or a Short Course Program.

SPECIAL NOTES

• MAST International and the participant’s host trainer must approve changes to the Practical Training or Study Program dates.
• Changes into or out of a Study Program are not always allowed due to enrollment limitation or visa date restrictions.
• Approved changes to the Practical Training or Study Program are subject to an administrative fee.
• Trainees that successfully complete a Study Program are eligible for an extension of stay, depending on the type of Study Program and the length of the original Practical Training Program.  Total program length may not exceed 18 months.
• Trainees who enroll for only the Practical Training Program are limited to a 12-month maximum stay in the USA and have no option for a program extension.
• Courses are subject to change and may not be offered every semester.
