MAST was the catalyst for both my career and my dreams. When I first came to the U.S., I spoke little English and had only a vague idea of what I wanted my future to look like. Through the program, I was able to explore the field I was passionate about, which paved the way for a successful graduate education and eventually a career with a respected multinational company. Today, after 18 years living in Minnesota, my life has grown into something far beyond what I ever imagined possible.
Some of my favorite memories from MAST are the moments I shared with the incredible people who were part of the journey alongside me. I’ll never forget Olga, Jair, Danilo, Rachel, Diego, Lucas, Alessandro, Amanda, and so many others whose paths crossed mine and left a lasting impact.
