Being a MAST student 35 years ago has shaped my life and who l am today. I was deeply influenced by the American spirit and the pioneer mindset of rural America being settled just a few generations back. I learned the value of hard work and perseverance. I was accepted in the community of the small town Geraldine MT and still keep in contact with people there. Our group of 1990-91 has developed over the years into friendship involving spouses, children and grandchildren. We meet up for a reunion every 3 years somewhere in the world. It is a good reason for traveling and to meet up with good friends and like minded people.
