The MAST experience allowed me to grow immensely as a person and professional. I took a regular class at University of MN and that paved the way to go to go back to school and return to US for my grad studies. I have been working with throughout North America since then, and have met with my host families after decades (photo below).
The best memories were meeting some very special people and driving cross-country 3 times.
