Participating in the MAST International Program from 2010 to 2012 was one of the most transformative chapters of my life. It was my very first time abroad. More than a professional exchange, MAST became a journey of human connection, personal growth, and profound learning. The people behind the program — with their kindness, dedication, and unwavering support — shaped my experience in ways I will always cherish. Their generosity of spirit and genuine care made me feel seen, guided, and encouraged every step of the way.
During my time in the United States, I gained far more than technical skills. I learned to look at the world with sharper eyes and a more open heart. MAST helped me become a more accurate, attentive, and responsible professional, someone who understands the importance of cultural exchange and the power of global understanding.
Every conversation, every piece of advice, and every act of kindness from the MAST team expanded my perception of the world. I began to see diversity as a source of strength, challenges as invitations to grow, and change as a necessary part of becoming who we are meant to be. The program taught me courage, humility, and the beautiful art of connecting with people whose stories are different from mine.
When I returned to Brazil and later became an International Partner, I realized just how deeply MAST had shaped my journey. The values and memories I carry continue to guide me in both my personal and professional life.
As MAST celebrates its 75th anniversary, I feel honored to say that this program didn’t just impact my life — it made me a better person. Thank you, MAST, for everything!
